will
celebrate
her
79th
official
“Veterans
Day”
holiday.
Find
out
just
how
this
special
holiday
came
to
be
as
this
episode
of
“News,
Nuggets,
and
Insights”
pays
tribute
to
our
veterans.
This
year
is a
bittersweet
reflection
of
that
special
day
in
light
of
the
widespread
disrespect
of
our
flag
and
national
anthem.
We
hope
to
bring
to
our
audience,
a
reflection
of
just
how
blessed
we
are
as a
nation,
and
how
the
sacrifice
of
our
soldiers
should
never
be
taken
lightly
or
dishonored
in
any
way.
We
had
hoped
to
devote
our
program
this
week
entirely
to
“Veterans
Day”
with
its
history
and
rich
meaning,
but
because
of
the
dark
cloud
currently
hovering
over
our
nation,
we
had
to
discuss
the
horrific
shooting
of a
church
in
Sutherland
Springs,
Texas,
which
left
26
people
dead
and
20
wounded.
This
tragedy
comes
right
off
of
the
heels
of
the
mass
murders
in
Las
Vegas,
and
Manhattan.
What
is
happening?
Not
only
are
people
being
attacked
physically,
those
who
believe
in
God
and
prayer
are
being
attacked
and
threatened
verbally.
Many
are
mocking
prayer
and
displaying
outright
hatred
and
anger
to
those
who
have
been
offering
prayers
for
families
of
victims.
America
used
to
be a
nation
“under
God.”
An
alarming
number
of
people
are
striving
to
make
it a
nation
“without
God.”
Join
us
in
this
